Programs 2019-2020

We usually meet on the first Tuesday of the month from September through June, with some exceptions. Most of our meetings are held during the day but we do have some meetings in the evening in order to accommodate the varying schedules of our members. Guests are always welcome and light refreshments are served.

Day meetings are held at the First Church of Christ at 11:45am unless otherwise noted.

Evening meetings are held at the Woodbridge Library at 7pm unless otherwise noted.

Members are encouraged to bring in cut specimens, container grown plants, fruits & vegetables to help our speaker explain the world of horticulture competition

“Fall Fun at the Café”

  7:00 pm

Members are invited to create a dozen or more seasonal floral arrangements for the senior center.  The GC will provide dried flowers & gourds, contributions of vases, containers & supplemental dry material (flowers, branches, seed pods..) from members would be appreciated.

In honor of 2020, each floral designer should choose a decade for the theme of their design, from the 1930s (when our club was founded) to the present.  Note decade represented on Entry card. Designer’s choice of plant material and optional accessories.
